It turns out my standings formula was accurate enough to predict the correct placings of all the teams. To remind everyone, my formula was as follows:

YYB-52%
SS- 16%
MSN- 16%
SOSD- 16%
Draws count as half of a win.

Darigan put in a strong effort against Kreludor, managing to get the win in YYB, but losing all the side games. Even if Darigan had swept, it wouldn’t have been enough to boost them into the top tier, because Shenkuu did well against Meridell today, winning all games save for a draw in SS. But congratulations to Darigan for winning the overall match against first-place Kreludor. Darigan will now enter the second tier finals as the 5th place team.

My Altador Cup scoring system was accurate.  At least, it was accurate enough to predict the order of the 16 teams.  As a reminder, side-game wins are worth three points.  Draws counted one point.  Yooyuball wins and draws were tripled.

The finals are officially up.  The first ranked team Kreludor, so they will be facing the 4th ranked Shenkuu.  The 2nd ranked team is Krawk Island so they will be facing the 3rd rank team Lost Desert.  Here’s the official rankings going into the finals:

Unfortunately TNT didn’t quite plan ahead. Currently if you go to the finals page, you see that page. TNT will most likely fix everything when they enter the office in the morning.
Also, you can’t currently play Yooyuball, as you’ll be playing against the practice team.
